Does anyone have anyone have any knowledge or experience of Nurosym devices? Apparently they stimulate the vagus nerve.

I have heard Alistair talking about the vagus nerve quite a lot but I don't know whether these devices are useful. My husband has a chronic illness and is considering buying one of these but they are very expensive so I wondered if anyone had any experience or advice?
