Lovely early morning practice ( in my PJs ) this morning. Rachel mentioned the quiet part of the practice and Jane mentioned mantras. This brought back fond memories, for me, of the earlier "corona comfort "days which the original gang members will remember. We used to have a 'Satsang' evening session where we joined Alistair and Daniel ( and Ben ) for a silent sit. The only sound would be A and D chanting , beautifully, while Daniel played the shruti box...blissful. I always used this time to practice whatever we had been learning that particular week. Unfortunately, being on a Friday evening, it wasn't a good time, for many, Too near to planned weekend activities but it had all the ingredients that Rachel and Jane spoke of. Happy , happy memories,๐งก๐

I echo what you are saying Patti. Silence, but with/in a sangha, is so womderfully nourishing and supportive. โค๐
