In Love With the World
Let's read Mingyur Rinpoche's book together
Six Wednesdays, starting November 6th 2024
Dive together into Rinpoche's life and death adventure
Mingyur Rinpoche was one of the most celebrated young Tibetan lamas and the head of a huge and influential monastery when he did a midnight flit and left his rich and prestigious life behind to embark on a simple 'wandering retreat' in the streets of India.
In Love With The World, his thrilling account of his near death experiences is a page turner. But also a profound and touching teaching on the idea of bardo - the in-between state between life and death in our lives.
Join us at Mindsprings to dive into this beautiful book. It's equally wonderful for Buddhists and for people who have no idea about this fascinating Tibetan world.
Here's the reading schedule...
We'll read the book over six weeks. Starting Wednesday 6th November and ending Wednesday 11th December. We'll meet on Zoom at 7pm UK time and discuss the book for 60 minutes.
