Don’t fix Tallulah!

In this recorded teaching, Jane spoke about her confusion around “awareness being aware of itself”. Which is a difficult but potent step in practice. But Alistair went on to discuss the “emotional body” as a meditational analogue to Philip Pullman’s brilliant creation of the ‘daemon’. Holding this playful idea of your emotional body with a name- Banjax, Banquo or Tallulah – allows us to listen to its wisdom without becoming fixated on it.
